Do Good Grant 2024 Recipient:
Wiawaka Center for Women
We're pleased to announce the winner of this year's Do Good Grant, Wiawaka Center for Women!
Established in 1903, Wiawaka stands as the longest-running women's retreat in the United States. Situated on a historic estate overlooking Lake George, Wiawaka provides a diverse range of workshops, lectures, retreats, and other activities tailored for women from various backgrounds, such as cancer survivors, veterans, artists, and writers.
As always, the decision was difficult and many deserving nonprofits applied. Congratulations to Wiawaka! We look forward to working with you in 2024!
This blog, originally published in 2019 and republished with updated info in 2021, was our most-read blog last year. (That shows you the power of search engine optimization, or SEO!) If you need a refresher on Google Search Ads, take a look for yourself!
Our second most popular blog of 2023 (originally published in 2022) is a list article that's still drawing readers through organic search. Read on to find out how to humanize your own outreach.
In third place, this blog was also our most-read article published in 2023. We covered a trending topic, discussing how AI content and human content differ, why your brand's voice and expertise matters now more than ever, and what you can do to stand out from your competitors.

A Note from Team SIX ✒
Hello partners & friends,
It's that time of year again — when new goals are made with the best of intentions and a blank slate.
Are the expectations sometimes unrealistic? Maybe.
Lofty goals can be a good thing — they motivate us to work harder. But when we fall short of them, our confidence and motivation can take a hit.
At SIX, we're always proponents of transparency, clear communication, and establishing expectations that align with reality. Even with all the planning and strategizing in the world, marketing and sales depend on one unpredictable variable — the human element. What will your prospects do? We can't know for sure. We can't control that.
But what we can do is focus on the things we can control. We can make sure that everything — your marketing, sales, and technology — is aligned and set up for success. The best intentions are nothing without the best processes to back them up.
