Time flies in marketing, and in business in general. 

I started at SIX four years ago this Monday. Doesn't 2020 feel like another lifetime ago? But also... where has the time gone?

Weeks turn into months. Months turn into quarters. There are always new projects that need your attention, new goals that need to be met, and it's easy to get swept along into the constant forward motion.

Other things get swept along too, carried forward by that current of time — things like outdated, ineffective marketing. And it's not as if you don't know it's bad. You're just busy and your marketing is "good enough for now," and constant reprioritization leaves it on the back burner.
